We started out offering medical laser treatments to improve the appearance of skin. Demand for something else kept surfacing: people with venous disease who had nowhere close to go.

Vascular surgeon Dr Dion Davidson recognized that patients needed access to endovenous laser treatment, an approach with minimal scarring, no general anesthesia, less discomfort and a faster recovery than traditional vein surgery.

Winter turns out to be an ideal time to treat chronic venous disease. Compression stockings are more comfortable and easily concealed in cooler weather, so many patients start then.

Getting a vein problem looked at used to mean several trips and a wait of more than two years.

We changed the order of operations. Our ultrasound technicians conduct the necessary testing immediately before you see the surgeon, so results and specialist are in the same room at the same time. One appointment, not a series of them, and a dramatically shorter wait.
